When they sleep they look like a big pile of fluff!! Its sooo cute!! They are cute and very desirable so if you ever wanna sell some babies they will be gone in a minute. They are very good broodies and mothers

I have 10 babies at the moment... they are the cutest things... and I know i will be getting more in the very near future

I definately think they are stinkier although I have no idea why. As long as you keep up with cleaning your coop regularly, then you shouldn't have a problem with the smell.

Silkies I would say are the BEST!!!!! I love silkies. I have had no problem with them and they are all just a joy to have.

The only down side is they love to go broody and they will try to share the same nesting box. On the up side, they will hatch any egg you put under them..

They are good little friends..

I love Silkies! I have 4 adults, 2 juveniles and 31 babies and still hatching........................

You can't just have a few.

Thanks, was worried what I was doing if they did cause I have 30 in the bator right now.

I have a couple and the only bad thing that I notice is that they can hardly see. Just make sure to keep them safe against predators. The feathering on their heads covers their eyes.
