Silkies

Ok,, So.. whenever i look at silkies... I see some with fuzz covering their faces.... and then i see some with no fuzz covering their faces.... I believe these come in both genders... but... are these different types of silkies..??

Bearded and non bearded.If they are show quality they have a lot more feathers around there face and head,you can`t even see there eyes and sometimes it has to be cut so they can see.

--This seems like a little place to ask this question. I raised silkies a few years back but eventually gave up xD And I'm curious I hear people saying, Showgirl Silkies and then just Silkies. Whats the difference?

A showgirl is a naked neck silkie. you either love 'em or hate 'em

I think they are weird, but I raise them....with out a doubt I think the chicks from Showgirls are the most darling!!!!

Once you get used to them they grow on you. Most people freek out when they first see them.
