Silkies

I am getting 2 silkie chicks and 2 Barred Plymouth rock chicks is there any tips on those specifice breeds?

I've got lots of Silkies. I make their roosts lower for them. I don't really think I do anything else different.

If they are growing up together shouldn't be a problem. My silkies were around 2 months younger then the rest of my flock they lived together for less than a year then were put in the grow out pen and now have their own coop as of today. I have found they don't do as well with larger chickens. Also I was told like 80% or so of silkie chicks are roos...

I have 4 silkies 2 are a year old and grew up with reg size chickens and have done great I had to seperate them for a while due to both of them getting injured one got under the car and the other stepped on something and hurt her foot and the two little ones are growing up with polish and marans and are are doing fine.
