Black is not the only Colour of Cayugas..Blues and Silver are called Lavendar in Alberta..Nice Ducks..

Oh well. If I'm honest, I don't miss them a whole lot. Just a little bit. They were super duper messy. I can't imagine how much of a nightmare they would be in our current -40° weather! LOL!

There are Black, Blue, Silver (called Splash in chickens) and Chocolate colors in Cayuga ducks. There are not many around but they are out there.
SandHill Preservation sells Black, Blue and Chocolate Cayuga ducklings for $7.00 each. Great place to buy ducks. The owner is a poultry judge. Also raises other poultry and Heirloom seeds every year.
