Silver Appleyard Bantams - PICS

I have indian runners now but love call ducks but my hubby says "what are they FOR, they're so little?" What do you do with them....like runners tend to be good egg layers so what is a call ducks "purpose"?

So good to hear from you!
I will keep you in mind if you are still interested in Silver Appleyard calls. I have not decide what I will sell yet. I lost ALL of my adult Appleyards to predators while I was out of the country! Huge loss! I may need to keep a lot of the babies to keep working with them.

Hopefully you will have 2 pullets and a drake in your Silver Bantams!!!

Oh, no! Sorry to hear about the predators, Robert. Definitely keep me in mind for Appleyard Calls in the Fall. My season this year with the Silver bantams was really short (started so late) but, we ended up having a decent year. I hatched out at least a couple hundred birds the last 6 weeks, including a couple dozen Silver bantams, so I am sure I will have surplus if anyone needs any in the Fall (hint to the OP).

I can't wait to see how your babies turn out, Sweet Cheeks. The Silver Bantams/Mini Appleyards are definitely what started my addiction to the bantam ducks!
