We purchased him as a female, and unfortunately we can’t keep a rooster in the city. I’ve checked with a few Marans breeders who confirmed his breed but mentioned that because his feet are not feathered, he isn’t up to breed standard. We’re looking for someone who will love him despite his flaws!
Marans produce dark brown eggs, and they can be crossed with EEs to produce olive eggers. Let me know if you’re interested!
