Silver Lace

Those are Wyandotte bantams.

I think Wyandottes are my favorite birds...I just love their color patterns. I have 2 gold-laced ones and when I add more birds, its going to be either blue-laced red or silver laced Wyandottes.

Though, for some reason I like Buff Orphingtons too.

They appear to be bantams, however, the male has a single comb so he's not a Wyandotte. Also, if someone's Silver Sebrights look like Silver laced Wyandottes there's something seriously wrong with either the Sebrights or the Wyandottes. They should look nothing alike.

very good, suprised nobody mentioned that monster single comb before...

looks to me like poor quality, hatchery sourced birds-- with some rock influence

Thanks for the info! No eggs as of yet, but I didn't think they were 100% Wyandotte's or not what I expected. The other Wyandotte hen was much bigger and I thought a prettier bird. These are nice, but not like the others.

I would like to slowly change my flock over to all Wyandotte's, but not sure this is where I want to start. It is hard to find nice birds in KY. Any suggestions?

good eggs usually can be found quite easily and shipped.

If you're wanting to increase the quality of the Wyandotte in your flock- then I sure woulnd't be using this rooster... He'd just set you back..

My advice, take your best 2 wyn hens, your best male.. and hatch every egg they make..
