All 3Then definitely a pullet
13 weeks on tuesdayThe blotchy white spot on the top wing of Lana pink is indicative of male. Females will have nice clear lacing while males will get a blotchy or large white bar type appearance there.
So Callie purple is Carl? It's definitely a Cockrel. you can tell by the saddle feathers by the way they flow down around the tail feathers! Trus me I have had ALOT of Cockrel identifying experience!!!
I know the age question has been answered already...I would know for sure if I knew the weeks, but seems to be pullets, 5-7 weeks maybe?
I can post pictures tomorrow. They will be 16 weeks tomorrow.I know the age question has been answered already...
I just wanna know what kind of bird you have that are that feathered in by 5-7 weeks?
But now I see that is an area you are still practicing! Me too.
To me (and I'm definitely not always right), purple might be a late blooming cockerel. Though I can't make out pointy saddle feathers yet, it's how it doesn't form what we call a "hen bump". Starting to be fuller a little farther up the back. Where as males their saddle feathers often kinda lay flat around the tail. I would expect it to be much redder in the comb and waddles. Are you able to get a better picture of the saddle feathers? Those DON'T lie.
Blue looks possibly female. And pink still male.
