OK, it's a little preliminary still since they aren't completely feathered in... Wow, ALL of your waddles look pretty red to me... but they don't seem to big yet. Do they all have short tails like the pink one? Short tails are usually males in my experience.

Your purple one is throwing solid cockerel vibes to me. His legs look real chunky compared to blue. Also, the little white patch near the top of the wing is likely going to turn into a big blotch/solid bar instead of a perfect lace pattern. That is the easiest way to tell in laced varieties.

I hate to say it, but I think they might all be male. :( Where did they come from? They still have some more development to come in before confirmation can be made for sure though. So don't panic just yet! Lacing on the blue one is looking good so far. It's the waddles/tail that makes me wonder about that one.

What I think is cool is how even though they are all the same "silver laced", they have their own individual patterns and look so you can still tell them apart. :love

It should be a lot easier to tell in a week or two for sure. But I'm sticking with purple being male, and hoping I'm wrong about the others! :fl

I hope you will update. :)

I purchased them as chicks from the Cacakle Hacthery
Their legs blue one has thickest legs and the pink one has the shortest tail. I'm hoping they are not all cockrels I can't have them in the area I live. I will take more pics next week and post. Thanks for your help

Hello! These are our two - around 7 weeks or so (not 100% sure). Thinking first one is definitely a rooster, the second one possibly as well :(

What other photos would help?

They definitely look a little red... but that could be flushing. Seems like my boys waddles might have been that big by 4 weeks.

The lacing is where confirmation can come from. Specifically on the top of the wings. Perfect lacing on females verses mottled/barred white on males. Yours aren't turning into bars yet, that I can tell. And their legs don't look too chunky, but pictures can be deceptive.

I am NOT currently thinking male. Since your Lav's are bearded, you can't really compare waddle size. :fl

Thanks so much! They’re very quiet and lovely chickens so will keep my fingers crossed!
