Silver laced Wyandotte still not laying!!!

Thank you Barbara for your kind reply,
My hens are wyandotte and americanas.
I get only colored eggs only. They are not free range as such, I release them in my small garden two to three hours every day and I chick every where to see if they lay somewhere but nothing.
Yes I feed they scratch, barely, grain and vigitables.
I wish you can give me an advise and thank you again
Noora

By the way, I ordered the eggs from The UK and I live in Amman-Jordan

So are you saying that they don't get any proper layer or grower feed? (It usually comes in pellet form or a dry mash.)
If they are just getting grains and vegetables then they may well be too low in protein and high in carbohydrates which make chickens fat. Layer pellets normally have 16%protein, which is what hens need to be productive. Scratch and other grains only contain about half that amount of protein. I appreciate that your Americanas are laying for you but perhaps they have not had the same diet all their lives or maybe, because they are a lighter weight bird, they are better at foraging for bugs, which will increase their protein intake...insects are high in protein.

I don't know what feeds are available in your part of the world but if you are unable to get a proper layer feed, you could increase their protein level with meat or fish scraps or lentils perhaps, or insects like meal worms.

If they haven't been raised from chicks with the correct diet this will definitely affect their development and delay/even damage their egg producing ability.

I just came across this thread and am experiencing a similar experience with the same breeds. Although my EE are laying, but not as frequently with the cooler winter temps. For the past few weeks I'm only getting green or blue eggs, which means the SLW aren't laying???
Background:
They do free range 2 fenced in acres, but I check there normal spots and have found nothing. The flock will be 1 this April, so I would imagine there shouldn't be any developmental issues as they all were laying consistently till Christmas. Why would one breed just stop laying?
I'm in the front range mountains sw of Denver, so it's mild 30 to 55 during the day and 5 to 30 at night. I removed my red heat light as some neighbors are worried about fire(my coop has windows and insulated with spray foam). Its been replaced with a black ceramic reptile light to keep it above freezing in there at night.
The SLW are also the bullies, feather pluckers even the rooster(EE) has no tail feathers now.... separate issue or maybe not??
