Silverlinings, once you switch to the Mazuri, you won't need the B complex any more. I confess I don't know appleyards, but on Mazuri starter I don't need to supplement B except for Pekins. If the Apple yards are big birds it may be good. Either way, it will not hurt anyone as they discharge any excess.

For some reason, I thought I wouldn't need to add niacin. Now I realize you only mentioned B complex. I've been feeding them the Mazuri for a bit now and (stupidly) just checked the label. What can I do to help supplement their niacin - or is what I am doing enough? (Adding nutritional yeast)

Adding nutrition yeast with Mazuri is enough. One tablespoon per cup of feed. Sorry that was a bit lazy response. I use b complex for cattle from TSC, but I use it for the niacin. how are the little guys?

I can't tell yet! My grandfather named George because his favorite dog from my childhood was George. This bird is slightly bigger than Matilda (Tilly) and both were purchased from TSC. This photo has Tilly on the left and George on the right. I'm also curious why Tilly has grey on one side!

Right? They just popped up about a week ago (these two will be 5 weeks on Monday.

Also, tell George probably two more weeks. Also is he still peeping?

I've been giving them pool time every day to encourage grooming and they are absolutely glowing afterward. It's strange, but I love listening to their bills click while they're preening. Very satisfying.

I was thinking that! Her coloring is so interesting. I certainly was not anticipating it, but it is very endearing.
