Silver Phoenix with yellow legs??

Is it possible for a Phoenix to have yellow legs? I have 2 with yellow legs and 2 with slate colored legs. The ones with slate legs are not quite feathered out so it is hard to tell yet. They are about 9 weeks.

Are they from a hatchery? If so, sometimes birds from hatcheries have defects and disqualifications like wrong combs, wrong colored legs etc......

They are from Murray McMurray, so yes.

I ordered the same assortment from Macmurray and have the same situation. One person thought the yellow leg might be an EE but I think it was just a fault and it's actually a silver Phoenix as I got several with the slate legs too. It looks like my extra chick is a silver Phoenix roo. He has some red showing in his feathering too.

If they're from the ornamental layer collection, I'll bet your yellow legged birds are silver Leghorns.

The yellow leg birds are likely Silver Leghorns.

I got that same opinion from someone else. However, the shape and coloration is the same as the other silver Phoenix.

They're going to be the same color, they're both silver. Phoenix and Leghorns have similar body types especially as juveniles before the Phoenix start growing longer tails. Your Leghorns will also have larger combs at maturity.
