Who has got Silverrudds ? I know some folks call them Isbars .. some say they are completely different. I’m in Northern Canada and this batch I hatched are from PEI.

I basically wanna chat all things about the breed ! So far my four 4 week olds are sweet as pie! The Breeder thinks they are all Pullets except possibly the splash. but early to tell.

Come talk to me about these sweet babies if you have some experience with them.

i have silverudd's blue in oregon. bought from a couple different breeders. sadly, when tested only one of four cockerels are homozygus for the blue egg gene. Such a bummer. So next season i will search for another one. They are very sweet and the boys so far are also nice. love the colored eggs and the size of the birds.
-- i also had one go broody, was told they do not. But she hatched five and they are all fully feathered now. They were a cross between silverudd's blue and a cream legbar.

I have a fully feathered blue- silverudd's blue cockerel hoping for a home where he will get some ladies. anyone? in oregon need a silverudd's blue? he has a good chance of being homozygous for the blue egg gene. Very friendly
