You asked about the frequent eating - yep, they eat, drink , poop, and grow like weeds. I agree with @Miss Lydia that providing a mirror for company is a good thing to assure her that she is a duck and not a small fluffy human.

She loves my husband. We may be too late

I had a gander who thought he was human for 4 or 5 years - then I bought some goslings. Within 24 hours he figured out there was someone who talked just like him, and I became second choice.

Houston SPCA appears to have some ducks/geese if you’re up for a poultry party road trip! Sorry for what happened to your babies. I’m afraid to get ducklings shipped for that reason. We’d love to see a picture of your husbands new admirer!

Doesn’t that break your heart to see all the ducks geese and chickens up for adoption. But it’s awesome they take them in. Our shelter won’t take in poultry
