Hi All,
A little over two years ago I purchased 3 hens off of Craigslist. I knew very little at the time and thanks to this forum I’ve learned so much since then! After I bought the hens( about 4-6 months old T the time) it became apparent that they were very unhealthy. All three had MG and one barely survived the first week thanks to some antibiotics.
Fast forward a year and half, and one of the hens dies of water belly after buying her about 2 months thanks to draining the fluid. Today, 6 months from the death of the first hen, I went down to the coop and another hen is dead. That leaves one hen left.
Here’s my dilemma- what do I do with her? I feel so sad that she is alone but understand I can’t introduce any other hens to her or they will also get MG. Thoughts? For what it’s worth she was the top hen and tended to picked on the others. Would love any feedback on what will give her the best life!

If she appears to be unhappy, you might provide a large mirror so that she can 'argue' with herself.
