Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Monday morning requires good strong coffee here. Constructing coop run today, but it's dark out and so I'll enjoy a few mugs as I gear up into momentum.

There were 16 new chicks in the hatchubator this morning with another 6 pips. Before even opening the door to the guest room I could hear them banging about in their Styrofoam box. Cute little hellions. Glad the guest room is at the other end of the house because something tells me it's going to be loud in there once they hit the brooder. It's a good morning for a hatchaholic.... Time for more coffee!
Good morning sounds wonderful to wake to chicks making noise how exciting for you!

Coffee is great anytime but always best in the AM. lol

Hope your weather will be nice for the construction today.

How old are your chicks? Sorry about the coffee.

Sitting here waiting on the temp to come up out of the 20's to go do chicken chores.

They're about 9-10 weeks old. Temps were in the 30s last night here so I bundled up to do chores.

Yeah !!!! another friend had joined our flock of coffee and chicken chatting BYCers. Welcome to our morning, I am drinking "Roasterie", just switched from Folgers

There's a small-batch roaster in Atlanta that I usually buy from, but he usually closes too early for me to get to except on the weekends, and I was focused yesterday on finishing up the coop.

I am drinking something called "Mystery Coffee" that was bargain priced at Sprouts. Well, you get what you pay for. Blech! I've been adding French roast to it and will be very glad when this bag is done. Not going to repeat this mistake again... At least it's hot!
If I had a really good cup of coffee, I don't think I could afford to be poor anymore.
Hot. in a mug, good enough.
Luke warm in a mug.. okay too,

I am just adaptable .

I used to enjoy meleta. That was a good cup of coffee.

Sounds great what color of Aussies do you have? I guess you will have a great April fools day!

They are black. I need to stand them on their head soon and see if I can tell who is laying. Do you trap nest? It might be easier (better) for me to use pairs next month instead of trios or quads.

I am still admiring your turkey photo.

Second cup is empty, time for chicken chores.

Ron here are my bators one is nearly full so I had DH fix the turner for my other one. I could not believe it. It no longer squeeks or rattles I did not think it was working because it does not make any noise. lol I love it!

Chantecler, Buckeye, Bourbon Red a few Heirloom turkey so far.
looking good!

I have changed motors on my turners. The will burn out over time. It makes a difference to have them turning smoothly.
