Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

we have been down in the teens at night, but high 30s during the day.

It TOTALLY looks like spring!!!! Most of the snow is gone... the first bird of spring has arrived ( and it is NOT dead and frozen in a snow pile...no snow).

The pond is still frozen.... but I am thinking not for long.

I need to put rear ends on my chickens... because some of them need spankings!!

The ones that I need to be laying, are not laying as much as they should, or as large of eggs as they should! Bad pretty chickens!!!!

The only way we could afford them is that my very generous brother lets us grow hay and use his big barn over there for free. I found a farmer that wanted to use the land and barn and in exchange he brings me the hay.
