Good morning everyone!!!
Wow! Texas hit with flooding rain, tornadoes, hail deep enough to shovel AND a 4.0 earthquake south of Dallas all in one 24 hour period????

Makes me almost feel guilty for our beautiful weather, almost

. So sorry for the folks in tornado alley, but after the past couple very long, very cold, very deep winters that we have had, I think maybe we were deserving to have a beautiful warm spring to actually arrive in the spring. We are supposed to return to normal temps (low 60's and 50's for highs) next week but even that is a real blessing after being in the 30's at this time last year. We are still getting 30's at night and even an occasional frost so there is no planting anything yet unless it's onions and potatoes but that's ok, it's giving me time to play catch up after switching gears to moving mode, ignoring the gardens, and then back again. I'm actually getting a bit excited to talk with the logger this next week and get the ball rolling. I know it will drastically change the look of the property but maybe that will make it easier to go ahead with selling, or to stay???

(shhh, don't tell DH but I really never was big on the whole moving thing even tho I know it gets harder every year for us fogies to stay here).

Well now I have to get outside and get some work done before the next rain rolls in. We actually haven't gotten much, it keeps missing us. All we get is the noise but we need more of the wet stuff to lower the fire danger.

Woo Hoo we got rain.... and the roadways are a mess... over 170 crashes in about two hours.

Were talking down pours in places where the windshield wipers werent able to keep up... and still the idiots keep driving....

The news says it was like a winter storm.
