Hide and Seek is my favorite game. The only problem is that I am seeking stuff that I have hidden from me.

SCORE! Last night I won a very nice (aka expensive) French Press pot for just $3 off a local on-line auction because they had no clue what it was and listed it as a juicer!!!

Also, I was woken early this morning to the sound of rumbling and a beautiful soaking rain!

I love being able to snuggle deeper under the covers on a cool morning and listen to Mother Nature take care of watering the gardens for me

. We were in need of a good soaking so now I can plant my potatoes.

I'm sitting outside with slightly damp birds who seem to be happy just to be out of the coop for a bit.

It has been an active week out in the yard...construction on the chicken run and getting the veggie compound ready for the garden crew who are going to shovel tons of walkway gravel therein. Monday is my designated house chore day and so it's time to clean house, especially since we've got nephew coming for an overnight visit on his way home to CA from TX. But first, before getting all industrious, it's time to savor a nice hot cup of morning inspiration.

Coffee is good.... a little bit of grace in a mug....a ritualistic pause that sets things right.
