I spent a week down in Del Rio, in February this year, Nice!!! However I couldn't go through a Texas summer!!! Ohio, usually, that is USUALLY, not too hot, not too cold, Just Right!

The summers are just oppressive. -chickens really have a difficult time. We stay indoors (except for sunrise and dark) from mid-June through October.

I still have Del Rio weather on my weather app just for the fun of it. When it starts to get weird temps here I can see what is happening in Del Rio and either be Thankful or Wishful! LOL

It's +12 this morning!!!

Visiting Texas has been on my bucket list for many years,, it sounds like a.wonderful place.

Today I start baking.
I will ease myself in with Chex mix. I used to make it one batch at a time, but my husband never left any, so now I make 15 lbs so I have enough to give away.

Good morning! We have 21 and expecting 2 inches of white stuff with 10 to 20 mph wind and 30 mph gusts! I will be soon off to Christmas shop! Yeah! White stuff will start about 1pm and I hope I'm back by 3 or 4! Before I have to drive in too much of of it. I don't like driving in the wind! Yesterday was colder but sunny. I'll have more of that please! Well time to go and I'll be prepared with 2 thermos' full of COFFEE! Look out stores here I come!
