Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Hi Rusty!!!!
Oh yeah, wait until they start developing their distinct personalities!!! They will crawl right into your heart

TJ-the vitamins certainly won't do any harm and just might do the trick even if it is neurological. Even if it is, with a bit of luck it could still outgrow it.

Keep us posted. (good job on the video by the way)

I thought that may be the case here tooo and was thinking I needed to order it but didnt want to wait now I want it now and have to order it and wait I shoulda just went to amazon when TSC was out AGAIN! I will pick up the poly visol for now while I wait for the nutri drench.

I do think it is a neuro thing I a quite sure she was pecked in the head. and I am praying she makes it I took out all larger birds and any potential peckers so she is with friendlies now but spends most of her time with me so I am sure she is not being picked on I keep her warm and return her to eat and drink unfortunately that means she saves all the poops for my shoulder! I did give her some of the omega complex.

Thank you for your advise
If she was pecked in the head, then she could have a brain injury. A lot of silkie owners treat with aspirin for brain injuries--reduces the swelling.

I hope she recovers and does not have permanent brain damage.

great advice Ron. I totally forgot about aspirin for brain swelling.
I have an excuse tho, a bit "under the weather" this morning. All this muggy, rainy weather caught up with me (we NEVER have muggy!) and I have a sore throat so I kind of sound like a frog this morning. Went to open the coop a little while ago, I always say good morning to the girls when I open the pophole, and they wouldn't come out! They all ran back up their ramp to get on their roost bar so they could look out the window at me. Huh? Then it dawned on me, they didn't recognize my voice!!! Silly chooks!!!

Boy, not only does my coffee taste good this morning, it feels good on my sore throat.
Coffee, good for you in so many ways

I will try the asprin today.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Not sure how some one can make it with out coffee... ( we might not understand... We all friendly here, some of us might be a little crazy) :weee

When I got chickens I asked my DW if I could have 2... She said ok... I came home with 4... I said they wouldn't cost much... I got a coop. Friend helped me build run. She decided by the time we got the first egg I had spent $700. So she says that's a $700 egg... I laughed, and held up the second one and said... Now we are making a profit!

Well this weekend we went to help our friend with her new coop. And DW said I could have 2 more chicks.... I never thought I'd hear those words.
