As to computers... I got a new one because the old one was about to implode... And I HATE IT!!

I have o ly used a single handful of times.... I want to bust it with a hammer... Windows 8 is the extreme of horrid... It doesn't do what I want, keeps freezing up, it is aweful... Better to not have a computer.

Windows 8 should not freeze up.

Take it back under warranty.

No chain stores where I live..... But yes, at a chain store in Texas.

Go for the manufacturer. They will honor the warranty. Sometimes they can fix the problem remotely and if needed they will ship a box to you for Depot repair service.

If the computer is glitching and is new it most likely has a hardware problem.

And here I thought it was just because I was being forced to use windows

No, all computers should work out of the box. If they glitch, they go back right away. I setup a new Dell laptop and a 27" iMac today for our Faculty. They both work perfectly and will go out to the Faculty tomorrow or Monday.

I hope you get it fixed!
