I'm sorry to hear that hope it feels better. I have seen them ground up in ice cream perhaps an option?

@Alaskan
That must be a very big glass or you must downright vibrate lol :)

Not a priority right now but thanks for the thought... my four shots of espresso for breakfast Keeps me from getting a migrane... any more... and I tend to get a little psychotic....

Lol yeah its a bummer getting a headache/migraine BC you haven't had your cup of coffee. I get migraines too so I understand.

I weaned my self from two pots of coffee a day by going to espresso.... I was getting that feeling of being kicked in the stommach from regular coffee... How I started was having a boilermaker instead of a regular coffee... one shot of espresso in an eight ounce cup of coffee... Two of those and I was pretty much good for the day... but I still got the gut issue...

So I started drinking it with half and half... Better but not enough coffee for the headaches.... It eventually evolved into four shots in a sixteen ounce cup topped with half and half. Not only was it my daily ration of coffee it was enough calories to substitute for breakfast.... It takes me about four hours to drink it... Just a sippin and typing here.

I am also writing a book so I spent probably about eighteen hours in front of the computer per day... If I need more caffien though I switch to either a diet coke or a big ice tea.

For what its worth. I ended the hand written portion of my book about a week ago.... Soon as I get those last journals transcribed....

Next step after that is for me to go back and read every word... and keep my hands off. Then it will be for the rewrite... Which I suspect will take another year. After that... off to an editor... Where I will pay X amount of dollars per word...

Continutity is my issue.... During the rewrite I hope to take care of some of it... then there is more character development.... I have been writing back stories for my characters for about six months now... Hopefully during the rewrite that will help me round my characters out make them less like scenery...

deb "who has been writing this for about five years now in this iteration"

Deb!!!

That is super exciting!!! Yeah for your book coming along so nicely!
thank you.... its funny.... I was right in the middle of a scene and the paradigm shifted.... I seem to be using that word a lot these days...

But it shifted and i wrote in big fat words.... END THIS NOW.... and did a swoopy squiggle that filled in the last of the page.

Hm... I guess this was a hint. so I took it.

for what its worth some of my writing is automatic... probably why I can do a thousand words in a sitting... LOL.

I type much faster though. transcription hasn't started I have to "order the journals" I think I have about four now that haven't been transcribed.

So The art should be a good addition to it... I am illustrating as I go. Nothing fancy just what you'd find in someones Journal. In this case I am using one of my characters as the writer of the journal... Back story on that one is still in works... But she will fill out when I do the re write. One of my last characters added about a year ago.

The concept has been in the works since I was 25... around 1980... the main character evolved during a group writing session I was doing with two friends we each had a character... but when we dropped it all after about five pages I took my character and ran with her. I only took her not the group writing setting i made my own... That version that is my own is dead..... about three hundred type written pages. I wrote on it off and on till about 2001. Its in a file cabinet somewhere on my property in the storage container.

About four years ago mom was diagnosed with breast cancer... I do not do hospitals well at all. But she needed me there and I couldn't stay away.... So while she went for tests, and surgery and checkup. Then radiation therapy... I sat in the waiting area and wrote.... volumes... I think I am up to fifteen journals now. I re wrote my book from memory.

something happened during that first journal... The characters started telling me their story... and suddenly I was taking things places i never thought of... and I survived the waiting rooms. To this day my real writing has to be done in the process of waiting for someone... Drs. appointment, Grocery shopping, I have no real desk here so I setup with the steering wheel as support purse under neath and journal on top.

So we will see. I have a friend who has published a children's book. She went through the whole process on Amazon... and offered to hold my hand.... and talk me through it all. I have two other friends on that same list who are qualified to proof read... For first time publishers Amazon is a way to test the waters get published out there... and hopefully get representation. Or find out its a flop get a few out there and have my family a copy and that will be that.

I am writing for me... if other people like it wonderful.
