Quote: Sounds like you need some sunshine and vitamin D!
DH is unemployed at the moment so all of my plans with my new coop are on hold. and Christmas too. I have been keeping the heater off because we are slowly spending our retirement right now.
But I am making lots of cookies.
Harder than haveing the kids argue and drive me crazy is the quiet now that they have moved out all but 1 of 5 are on their own now. We have 2 new grand babies due this spring. That is exciting however it is really complicated to be pregnant now. you must avoid everything. And it seems the doctors now work for fear factor. its Crazy.

Get you one of those plant grow bulbs and plug it in over your favorite spot to relax. Just hang it right from the ceiling in one of you chicken lights. My moms doctor had her going to a tanning bed once a week for like 10 minutes. the lighting was good for depression and what not. Not advocating tanning beds but I still raise my arms to the sky and say thank you Jesus to the vitamin D.

complaining and even sometimes Screaming is necessary sometimes it lets you get it out there so you can look at it.

I have enjoyed many of your stories about your children. I am not worried for your oldest. They tend to figure it out. I still want my son to think bigger but he is happy and that is really what I wanted for him. I worry about him alot but have to remind myself he is kind loyal and loving. He has the ability to adapt and to figure some things out but also knows where to come when he needs advice.

Take some time for yourself bring a chicken in the house for a bit do something that makes the whole family think you have lost your mind and they will use kid gloves for a bit

Teen aged boys, They all start to get worn out about now.
When you think about it, they have had new hormones to get used too and I imagine testosterone is a difficult one to get a handle on.
He will get his breath find his stride and be fine.

It really helps!
When your kids think you are looney all they can do is sit quietly and whisper to each other.
I have done that before, That is why my Granddaughter calls me "CrazyLady"

Yep I am finally up and about. Believe it or not that stretch of writing in November was cathartic. I plan on downloading my books to a thumb drive and have them printed by either Kinkos or Office depot. This way I can assemble the parts for a doing the second draft. I decided to take a break though and a bunch of other creative stuff has popped up.

I want to do a metal sculpture either out of re-bar or barbed wire or both. I need to find my bender if I want to do re-bar I can make a bender for the wire. Definitely need to build a work table for that. Something I can put some tooling pins in. I found a steel one on crags list... so we will see.

I am designing a farm vehicle based on a golf cart chassis. I want to be able to carry a bale of hay front and back and bring a passenger along. It also has to have higher ground clearance and use regular car tires. Or small tractor tires.

I am working on the coop design again sourcing materials. My favorite cage maker is back in the bird cage business. Yay I need to buy a roll of cage wire, before he decides to shut it down again.

I am working on designing steps for my front porch back porch utility porch and my laundry room. I need to shorten the rise on all of them and add in a step. each set is different. Ramps wont work I dont have enough space for them. Though I may be able to remove steps all together for the front porch at least. I have to think that one through though. IN all cases there WILL be handrails.

Also found some drafting tables that came out of a school. they are selling them for around fifty a piece. They will make excellent bases for another project .... My kitchen. they are all steel and have adjustable legs. I just need to narrow them down enough to build cabinets in them. I want to do an European style kitchen. Not as fancy as it sounds. Its just in the old style buildings there the kitchen cabinets dont come with the house. You move them in like furniture. this way I can rehab the floor at my liesure. With the floor rehab the kitchen will get gutted for rewiriing and to add a framing for a door to the future canning porch.

I also have a huge window that has to go. Originally that window was on the outside of the house. But my bedroom was built over that space. If I took down the curtain You could see right down to my bed. I can use the space to put in a refrigerator box to push the refrigerator and freezer flush with the counter tops. it will only intrude on my bedroom space about a foot.

If I do cabinets now they would have to be ripped out for the rehab. but if the cabinets can be parked elswhere Like in a temporary kitchen I wont be wasting effort. Right now i have a grand total of three linear feet of counter space. One set of drawers that are particle board and are disintegrating. And a single corner cabinet that is soo a waste of space its like running your fingernails on chalk board for me to even think about it. I only have to address how to do the sink. But that may be simpler than I think...

deb, I like your plans.

Nothing like planning in order to get your mind off of other stuff....

I drew up a side view of the vehicle. Soon as I remember to bring it in out of the car I will scan it.

Do you remember when All terrain vehicles first came out? Maybe not I think I am about twenty years older than you.

But they had six wheels and you turned by pushing or pulling levers on either side of you.

i am thinking of making this end swapapbale. the steering would be a modified joy stick in the center. So no matter which way you sit you can steer it with your right hand. Depending on pressure on the seat will tell which wheels to go. I dunno Its probably a controller night mare.
