I dunno, I have never stuffed a thermometer into my toaster... I do kinda doubt it though.

Back at a recent session of Glass Camp we were informed that a kiln is just a glorified toaster. I don't know what state the beans would be in at 1500 degrees, either flash roasted or ashed.
