Our greyhound used to fog us regularly. We switched to a homemade diet and -- miracle! -- no more noxious gas. I cannot explain it other than there must've been something really rank in the kibble and canned stuff.

I have been grain free in dog diets since about 93 my old shepard and our corgi cross are the worst offenders...Oh how I miss my big dogs. Never had a Pyr tho, congrats.![]()
Right now we have a designer dog known as a Teddy Bear. It's a Shitsu/Bichon cross. (should say "I"-I'm the dog person tho DH has grown to love ours). She was a gift from the kids after our Lhasa (a gift from my daughter) passed. She's 7 now and I truly love her but what I wouldn't give for a real working farm dog. BTW-my puppers stopped being a "stinker" as soon as I switched her to a grain free diet.
