As part of his winter prep, he's gotten his "curmudgeon" suit of mothballs, and is trying it on to see if it still fits.

Can't say I blame him... I still need to find/build a suitable winter waterer for ducks.

I am in a "smack you on the head with a hammer because you dared to come within 10 feet of me" kind of a mood....

I will probably feel more cheerful come April.

I survived Monday!!!!
Took all day but I can see again. No clue what it was but it's gone so I don't care. Spent all day today playing catch up on all the stuff I was supposed to get done but couldn't see well enough to do it. At least I had a good day to get it done. Temp right around 60F with some hazy sunshine and only a little breeze. There is just no better working weather!!!
Now, time to put on another pot of coffee and get that chili started that DH wanted for supper. (Got to treat him nice, he's still building the new door for breezeway between the coop and greenhouse

)

Interesting article tonight on NBC Nightly News about a new 5-minute eye surgery that lets those of us with our noses buried in our computers for days on end for years read newspapers and menus again... Which is a good thing as my arms are not growing any longer and the print seems to be getting smaller.
