Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Hey, this is a good thread! Coffee brings people together

The thing is, I have been terrified of drinking coffee because my grandpa told me it stunts your growth. Well, for poor 5'4 me, that meant a lot! I just now learned that coffee, in fact, does not stunt your growth, so I have been slowly falling in love with Starbucks latte packets. The directions should literally say "add hot water for paradise and a drowsy-free day!" And coffee has pretty much saved me in the mornings because my volley ball team insists on practicing at 6:00 in the morning. That's right, 6:00am! Anyway, good thread and I hope I can contribute!

Welcome to the thread... Whew 6 Am... I used to have to play Field hockey that early... in the fog....

I am an espresso drinker myself but I do a Breve now and then... I like a good cup of brewed coffee but very few places make one.

A Breve is a Latte made with Cream instead of regular milk.

My other favorite is Cold brewed Coffee Toddy... but its for a special occasion...

Also another way to quick brew coffee is to use a coffee press. Hot water from the microwave poured over the coffee let set a bit then press the coffee down to the bottom of the container. Yummy.

We would need a much bigger coffee press than what we have that is why we have the percolator

Sorry there @duluthralphie keurigs do not steep the coffee as a press or percolator
the water just runs over it

I have 2 wells here, one for the garden and one for the houses. I have thought about driving a sand point for a well for the birds. It would make life better for me. Besides the water from the sand points tasted better and are colder.

The state though will not let a bank finance a house on a sand point. They may even make you pull it before they let you sell. Government that thinks country and city wells are the same thing and should be treated the same. They make us drill over 100 ft for our "house" wells, if we stay around 40 ft we get better water and just as much.
