Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Deb- I don't think so. The bottom is a scovy mix, I think, but the others were off of google. They don't look like the right shape and size to be calls.

Speaking of chicken pluckers, I've spent the morning doing weasel trap research. It past dusk but not quite dark yesterday when I went out to lock the girls in for the night. As I stepped onto the porch movement caught my attention and I turned in time to see a creature at just the edge of the porch light go running away from the gate that opens into the chicken "play yard" and very close to the coop door and run. Not sure exactly what I saw but I have been able to narrow it down to either one of the 3 weasel species native to our northern coniferous forest or possibly a pine martin. Hoping we don't have martin because they are an endangered and protected species in our state.

Anyway, hubby was sent off to town to get the needed supplies to construct a weasel trap box. I'm just going to cross my fingers we don't trap a Martin. I would actually set out the small live trap if the weasels weren't so down right nasty once they are trapped. The little demons try to eat you alive!

Be careful if you do please trap a weasel
Awwww, thank you penny

but my trap puts the little demons permanently night night. We normally live trap and just relocate deep into the nearby Chequamagon National Forest but these guys are just too vicious, and fast, to risk messing with.

fell down last night got my feet tangled in some blankets and wound up behind the door sitting on some stuff that needs to be tossed out. Tried to grab the door knob and only caught my nails on the strike plate.

So Here I am sitting with my back against the wall feet wound up in a blanket and nothing to get leverage on to roll my self over. Oh and my full weight is up against the door. The door opens in and i am thinking the fire department will have to cut the whole door down to get me out.....

and that No one would hear me till morning. so I rolled and twisted enough to get the blanket out and can move my foot... Then Gritted my teeth for the pain and rolled over on to my hands and Knees. that took a while to get my center of balance to cooperate... Oh Pain.... but now I can get leverage on the corner of the bed and streighten out my legs and push my self backwards.....

Yay on my feet ... I tossed the blanket where It needed to be and went to bed.

Soon as grandma finishes her breakfast I am heading out for coffee.... and back to do some serious planning for hoeing out my bedroom....

did I mention I was an aweful house keeper....

Morning all..

Enjoying my coffee as I assess which of my pains is the worst this morning, Right now I think it is the left knee. But there are several other joints in the running for "Most painful area" award.

The only good thing so far today is my coffee.

Hi Ralphie!

Sorry the body isn't being nice this morning. I'm "hybernating" a bit as well but I'm just waiting for all the ice to melt off everything (not looking for a repeat performance of the last time I slipped). Had to literally break open the ice coated gate locks earlier. Then it's outside to do more tree pruning. Major job since it hasn't gotten done for two years and we (aka I) keep several acres limbed and at least somewhat groomed. Fussier about the trees within what we consider the yard area of course.

Sitting here second cup did get chickens out cleaned
need a shower but needed coffee first
