Love the photos too. I'm trying to figure out where to put my chicken coop so it gets sun, has shade for the summer, and is not to hard to access with six feet of snow. Any ideas, or should I just have more coffee?

Where I'm planning on putting my coop is on the side of my DH's barn. It blocks the cool north wind. From the west it's has some wind blocks from some trees and it will have shade from the trees too. And snow? What's that?

Attach it to your house, covering the kitchen or dinning room window. Then, in the depths of winter you can just open the window to toss out chicken scraps.

We had rain!!! No "lumpy bits" or big white flakes, just good old wet stuff!!!

It was so strange it sent the chooks running for the coop and the puppy started barking!!!
