Don't you just hate it when you have a day off work, and work calls to see if you can come in?
No! I'm knee deep in cleaning the chicken hay! I'll be in on my actual work day, but thank you! And no sooner have I gone back to my flock than my husband calls me in to take a break.

So, here I am, taking a break with coffee and cake like he wanted, and what's he doing? Taking a shower.

Getting off my soapbox... Anyway, my morning has generally been good, as I have taken out the bad hay and put in fresh hay in the coop, a new layer of bedding in the run and nesting boxes, and added a roost.

Also, I may have befriended my CR rooster...although he may just be stalking me with the plans to kill me when my back is turned.
He's been following me all morning, back and forth, back and forth, and when I stay in one spot, he lays down. He's still staying a couple of feet away, but still, for a rooster who normally attacks everything that moves, familiar or not, I'll take this as progress. e

I can honestly say that I DO NOT for one INSTANT miss snow. Or ice storms. Or freezing rain. Thank God for Texas weather!

Umm.... That isn't a crazy person, that is roasted SuperSilkies. I think Roasted SuperSilkies need to cool off in the snow, roasting can burn you I hear...

On another note, I was drink my morning coffee today and someone said something funny and it came up my nose, poor coffee.
