This is my day today! :) Hope everyone has a great day!

@Puddin Fluff  Eeww skunks! We've got one around here. It's been spraying somewhere nearby in the middle of the night. The critters need to learn "This is our space and out there somewhere is their space". Short of that the only thing we can do is show them " our space" enforcer. ie...

Just read your page, GOOD JOB! I really like what you've done. Now you've done it!!! Thought I had mine all done, but now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hmmmmmmmm. Already have the catch board under my roosts (fill mine with woodchips, smell so nice when fresh) and cut a hole in the side of my little greenhouse so the girls can play in there in the winter, but I like the idea of the shed between the two. Right now I just have a 'breezeway" with a clear panel roof between the two. completely enclosing just might be a good idea. More secure. I don't have your extreme pred problem (not yet anyway) but it still might be a good idea. I also need to do something with my primary run. Wish I could afford to clear panel roof it but I need a cheaper plan B for that one.
Anyway, once again,

OCAP-"one of my two silkie hens hatched three brahma large fowl last Saturday, now I can see how long it takes for the babies to gather under her wings and pick her up."

PICTURES!!! YOU MUST GET PICTURES!!!
When they start to grow, I bet the poor little lady's expression is going to be priceless!

here are two of the three buff brahma large fowl at four days old with proud and protective hen

Mornin,
We are still in the rain. Yesterday was just drizzle and lightning.
The new puppy does not care for thunder. She say it is almost as bad as the garbage trucks.
