Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

That would be both cute and funny!! :D   LOL

ah! The reason I have a school room, is because I force ALL of the children to sleep in only one room. The room is almost wall to wall beds, and one floor to ceiling set of drawers for clothes.  Yeah, but I have more than one gender of minions, so I'm stuck using two separate rooms for sleeping.  Otherwise, I would do the wall to wall beds and floor to ceiling drawers too.  Definitely need to economize on space.
 Kinda silly of them both. But maybe it means they are very intelligent, and their brains are most important????

I thought that if I ended up with both genders...that I would use those College Loft beds that they make. And then almost all floor space would be school room, since two desks would fit under one bed.

Then, that would mean the other bedroom would be set up the same way (since it would be housing less children, all children beds could be at ceiling level), and most of the room could be a toy room or book room, :drool

Ah! The dreams!

There was one family I knew, they took a normal sized room, and cut it in half. You walked into the bedroom, there were a few hooks on a wall, then a wall of beds with ONE set of drawers under the bottom bed for clothes, and that was it. There was almost no floor space. I think the rest of the clothes were stored in a bank of drawers in their school room/loft.

We have a bunk in one room, but the other is the room I would

to have for a school room. It almost was, but then became the storage room, and now it houses half the minions and the little, tiny room that used to be their bedroom is now my tiny, cramped cluttered, can't move for boxes storage room and... half the minions do most of their school work on their beds, one of the others works at the kitchen table and the youngest works on the living room rug. =D Organization at its best!!!

(not) It works. (kind of) We can't have everything, so I'm living w/o a school room. At least I don't have to live w/o coffee (and especially chocolate). A life w/o coffee and chocolate...

Hope your wrist is feeling better.

1st day back to shool. My hubby won't know what to do being home alone.

Blood testing for county fair tomorrow night. Kids are taking four young birds. I would love to take a couple of our hens but they have some ratty looking feathers, so not much point.

Hope everyone has hot coffee and a fabulous Monday!

First day of school. My son is looking forward to it, but WAAAAA!

I like having him around.
Last year all he did was study and do projects. I hope this year will be a lighter load so we can actually interact on the weekends.

Thank you for the warm welcome's.

Quote: Thank you. It is still swollen but does not hurt as much. :)

When you bring your birds home from the fair do you quarantine them?
Good luck at the fair tomorrow night I hope you kids win big!
Quote: Thank you. Something wrong with my vision there are black holes in my vision here and there they come and go. And I had cataract surgery and they say they can't fix it now.... :/

First day of school is a bit of a tough one. Sorry. try to find something to keep you busy and he will be home before you know it. :)

We just have blood testing tomorrow, fair isn't until September. We just moved the dates back this year and I am hopeing it is cooler. We did have it in early August and the temps were brutal.

As far as quarantine, no I haven't in the past. I don't have any space for it but I probably should. Hate to say it like this, but if I had breeding/show stock I would be more vigilent. Since we have a hobby flock, I kind of just take my chances.

If I didn't think my hubby would disown me, I would have more pens and birds. One would like to think that people would not bring sick birds to show but I know not everyone is that concientious. We have had outbreaks of respretory problems after some fairs.

Hope nothing worse pops up.
