Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

whaaa? NOOOOOO!
oh well.
now I know.
One day I will get a new one.
My arms are so tired from this weeks work, and my wagon would have saved me so much labor... I miss it.
They really are fantastic. I wish they had solid tires though. There are only three things that make my husband cuss: Insurance, computers, and replacing small tire tubes.

Morning everyone!
Got to love the northwoods. Where else would wild weather come ripping thru leaving a mess and they close the high school and the community college not because they couldn't hold classes but so they can grab all those big farm and lumberjack kids to help clean up the mess and the guys are all like, GREAT! Who's got a chainsaw? And the girls are going, "Let's go see if mrs ----- needs a hand"! Farmers and loggers loading up their equipment onto trailers and heading toward town to help out the city folks! I LOVE IT! Community "we can get it done" spirit still alive and well up here.

Let em try THAT in Chicago!
Those kids would be running like it was a jail break and adults telling their neighbors to call the city, "that's what we pay taxes for" while they gripe that things aren't getting done faster..

Here we have fire storms.... San Diego has a suprisingly high density of horse population... When the fire storms blow through people come out of the wood work to help evacuate... Last time every baseball field or horse boarding facility that wasnt in the path of the fire had hundreds of trucks and trailers parked. and it takes people with horse knowledge to handle horses who are frightened and unsure or inexperienced.

By the way you can buy all the parts and build one out of wood. My next cart is going to be about four by six and made of wood planks with slots to put sides on. It will have two fixed wheels in the middle and they will be the large diameter ones Then there will be two wheels one front and back that swivel.

That arrangement allows the cart to turn on center so you can push it from either end without having to turn it around. the large wheels will allow it to go over rough surfaces and the swivvel wheels will keep it from digging in and tipping when you stop.

All solid rubber... no air. tires. And yep you can get those for the big bicycle tire wheels.

deb "off to go sketch it up"

That is great Perchie girl!

Ron that is great that you are getting some feeling back in your foot.

Ok, what can one do for RA in your hands so that you can use them or close them. I cannot sleep at night for the pain. :(

Wish I knew so I could tell you!!!

Good luck I hope they all stay healthy.

Thanks! =)

NH wow those are beautiful congrats!

Thank you! =)

I got one of these to haul my feed from the drive to the feed room and my feed buckets to the pens. I borrowed the pic from Fat Catalog online. But I bought mine from TSC on sale it sure makes chores so much easier it holds up to 800 lbs.

That would help me out a lot!!!

The garden wagon: I have one, and it is one half of my white chicken tractor. I can push mine, but it is trickier.

The prolapse:

I know......about the almost guaranteed constant reoccurrence.
sad.png

I am kinda hoping that if I close my eyes, it will all just go away. Her's is not at all swollen like some of the nasty pictures, so maybe it will be able to go away.
fl.gif
Here's hoping that it never reoccurs!!!
Sometimes I feel that way too, especially when Snoodle was sick.

Oh I get it... we use what we can. I am always rethinking stuff... Its my nature.

deb
Me too. I find it very annoying; I can't imagine how my DH and DCs feel about it....(I sure wouldn't want to live with me!!!)

He mistyped and wrote 'ring leg' instead of 'right leg' and I just let my imagination have fun with it.

Oh.

I'm beginning to suspect that I read right through most mistakes. I bet my kids are glad of that when I start grading their writing assignments.

Evening all,
Storms, at least the nasty ones, have moved on. Never knew you could be under 7 warnings/watches at the same time! All we got here was some wind and a lot of sheeting rain, all the really nasty stuff hit just to our north. Poor folks up there will be cleaning up for days and a lot of eating by candlelight for a while.

Great job Alaskan! As for your prolapsed lady. Don't know if this will work now since it sounds like she's been that way for a while but sometimes what will work is clean her up good, put the prolapse back in, coat her bum with preperation H and put her in the dark for a day or two to stop her from laying to give things a chance to tighten up.

Chickadoodles- I have one of those wagons too and love it.
Perchie.girl-great idea about the hard rubber tires. DH has already had to put an innertube in one because the thing wouldn't hold air. No Harbor Freight around us either but we have bought a lot from them online. I've been checking out the rollators and found that Walmart has them online!

Hi Teachick!

Well, we're switching location because the rainstorm is knocking out the satellite so we can't watch the game and we MUST watch the Packers!!! so we must move to the bedroom. The TV in there is still hooked to our old tower antenna that can only get two channels (because that's it that's even close to "local') but it just so happens one of them gets the game
clap.gif

Have a snug evening everyone
I feel ya. We have several teams covered, but the funny thing is we live closer to the Jags than to anyone, but there aren't really any Jags fans here, so most of the time their games are blacked out, but we also can't find out almost until game day which game they're going to televise here. That's a pain b/c DH is a Pats fan, but a lot of times they won't even televise the NE-Miami games. Ugh!
Anyway, I hope you get to watch all the Packers' games!!! =D

Glad you're safe up there chicki!
Alaskan sorry about your hen.

Also I dont know how you do it with all your different relief soon. s and ages. I only had 4 groups of the same species and couldn't hardly stand it for a couple months until they became "one big happy (more or less) family.

perchie.girl glad your chair came in and it is "not too big, not too small, but Just Right!"!!!

chickadoodles I only know about warmth and arthritis cream. They help alot. But pt sounds helpful. good luck hope you find relief soon.

I have the garden wagon too. I have a hard time pulling it when loaded with much. Thank goodness for JD and a trailer. Or even better - a big bed on a UTV.

I'm am ready for new season and better luck. My brother who lives 2 hours away in MI had a heart attack early yesterday morn and he takes care of my mom who will be 84 on Monday. She has diabetes and dementia. She is staying here for a little while. But our house is not handicap accessible. House is built into a hill. We drive uo the hill to get her in or out of vehicle and she still has 6 normal steps and 3 smaller ones to manage; we have no shower she can manuver. We have deep soaking kind : on the positive side... I do much better with her diet than he does and her sugar is already coming back down. We're managing fairly well though and she's hanging in like a trooper. Don't know when he gets out of hospital or when he can return to normal duties. They still have some more testing to do.

Is it October yet? Did I mention mom has insomnia many a night. Getting some zzzzs while the getting is good.
Night all!

Out

Hope your brother gets better quickly (both for him and for you).
My DH's Nana (my favorite of my in-laws) had dementia for years. It was hard, but I looked forward to hearing about her dad's candy shop and how he let her have any piece she wanted every time she went to see him while he was at work.

Now I want a Gator too or a garden wagon or something like that!!! Meanwhile, I'll have to use the minions.

My back's bothering me for the past few days. I still have the maternity support belt from when I was pregnant with my youngest, so I use it as a back brace when it feels like this. It helps. Sitting in DH's living room recliner doesn't help, but it's better than sitting at the kitchen table. Oh, well. I just get up and try to stretch it out and use checking on the chickens as an excuse to stay more active than I'm really feeling.

You can buy solid rubber tires at Tractor supply or online also. Sorry
