Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

@Alaskan Looking good! Does this mean more chickies in your future?

@Puddin Fluff Good luck with your new tablet! I have a Samsung 10" and love it except I should have ordered a matte screen because the glare from the glossy screen really bugs my eyes after awhile. I will have to buy anti glare screen covers or glasses

@perchie.girl

I get at least 4 feet.... 4 feet settled snow..... I often get lots more

Ooh! I found a cool table

Month Record Snowfall Year
September 4.0 in 1992
October 16.9 in 1976
November 37.4 in 1945
December 79.0 in 1920
January 55.0 in 1921
February 54.4 in 1969
March 57.2 in 1985
April 36.7 in 1971
May 16.3 in 1971

Must not be a good table.... We were one inch away from the record year total just two years back.......wonder how the snow that year was divided between the months.

Also, I get lots more snow than Homer proper since I am 1,000 feet higher than town.

@chickwhispers

No more chickens.... But the chicks from this year are growing, and I am REALLY worried that the standard size roosters are going to literally smush my bantam hens. This new coop will be bantams only.

Also, i want my standard sized chickens to have a minimum of 8 square feet of inside covered space.... Which means I need to move some out.

Curiously, do you provide a heat source for them?

Nope, no heat. I also don't heat the water unless I really have to. (If the water freezes solid in an hour or less, then I start to heat it)
