I never like the first wood stove lighting of the year. The dust burning off is asthma inducing.
It has to be done on a day when we can leave the windows open... so that's most days.
yep it is a freezing 55 right now. my bones are shattering. I do not know how you northerners can be so brave... and alive. i- would -die. or someone would kill from all the whining.

Beautiful picture! Cold windy 28 in VA this morning. Even had a few flurries last night. Not my kind of weather but coffee makes it bearable...that and the wood heater.

Haven't tried them. I'm a flavored coffee girl. Vanilla, coconut, peppermint...I love them all. Especially with some good creamer and a splash of Rumchata.

I made some espresso in my Moka Pot stove top brewer and added some Baleys Irish cream to it on Veterans day.

It was very good!
