Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Tea on the coffee thread??????

Should we banish him, folks???????

It's my kids that keep me from sleeping, or sleeping well at least. *twitch *twitch

I like the dissolving kind. Especially the sublingual one.

@perchie.girl , I like the "after coffee before spring" project list. I'll have to start one of those.

If you are truly from the South you know that you can't go a day without both. Not the tea in the fancy little cups though.

I'm all for natural whatever, but putting a toad in the bathroom???  I'd be a bit, shall we say perturbed, if DH put a toad in my bathroom. :tongue

If the toad gets rid of the ants bring them on.

I had a visitor at my kictchen sink earlier this fall after a big rain.

Since the kitchen isn't finished yet he was able to squeeze in from the basement. But I don't know how he got in the basement. :idunno The good news is there weren't the usual ants coming in this summer. :)

OOops I ment Vernal Pool. Not a spring.... though we do have them... scattered about. IN some places here the water is pretty close to the surface... Volcanic ground in some places.... Especially by Jacumba hot springs.

Its the Big rocks.... they mess with the aquefer making water well up... You will see rocks with watter dripping off them for at least a couple of months after the winter snow....

Ironically, I studied entomology at the University of Florida.
I should have looked there first.
I even have a stereoscope, so I can count the antennae segments... But I know it is them when the third sentence in the article states: This common household ant is distributed worldwide and carries the dubious distinction of being the most difficult household ant to control.

That's it.
So, I will learn to live with it. or get some geckos, except the puppy likes to eat small lizard like things and they give her an upset stomach.

finished the "freezer camp" for 2014, eight sent to camp today. I do not need to raise as many chickens next year, finally finished eating the ones I raised in 2012.
My wife bought some soap that is scented with coconut and ginger that removes the blood odor on my hands.

afternoon coffee was just what I needed to recover.
