Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

As I sit here sipping my morning cup of Joe I can't help but recall the strange experience I had last night when I went to tuck my chickids in.
All six of them jumped on my shoulders, arms and back and refused to go into their coop.
Anyone watching would have thought it was a scene from Hitchcocks the birds.LoL
Suspecting this was not quite normal chicken behavior I consulted the previous owner who explained that they had been kept in her bed room and were used to watching TV and constant human contact.
These poor chickids were afraid of being alone and of the dark!
They really did want to come back into the house with me.
Having enough of a problem fighting for the remote with my girlfriend I decided that that was not going to happen. LoL
I also Think they are supressing feelings of anger after watching too many McDonald's chicken Mcnugget commercials!
It may take years of therapy to make them behave like normal chickens again.
Curse you Ronald McDonald for the damage you have done to these baby's. LoL
This is gonna take a lot of COFFEE to fix.
HAPPP HALLOWEEN everyone!

Indeed much therapy and coffee! Maybe if you gave the chickkids their own TV in the coop?

What a fitting Halloween chick story too!

Happy Halloween!

I to regret that there are no photos or video of this calamity.
I'm sure I could of entered it on AFV and won a prize.
Even if I had my phone (which was on the charger) I don't know how
I could have taken any pictures with chickens all over me.
If my girlfriend (who I was yelling for help to)had been where she should have been.
Maybe she could have taken some but that didn't happen either. Oh well in life timing is everything. LoL
Fortunately the little buggers seem to be catching on to what the're supposed to do and I only had one hold out last night that I had to help into the coop.
I still think they are angry but they seem to be getting over it.
Please keep that white stuff up where you are, here In Florida we have a saying: Ya don't have to shovel sunshine. LoL
Hope your weather improves.
I have to go get some coffee now.

It was 50 this morning. I am not ready for cold!!!

Didn't we just do this last year?

My son is all,"Ah! This weather is great! crisp and clear. This is GREAT!" He beams.

Me on the other hand, ... not so much.

Give me something in the 80's and I won't be crabby.

There is supposed to be snow into North Georgia. I saw reports of 4 inches in the Tennessee Smokies.

I say my favorite white landscape is the Gulf Coast beaches.

Aw, sorry. Or, maybe it's just me.
I have never seen the stuff. I have always wanted to, but when you have a bunch of greenhouses protecting your livelihood.... well, no to snow please.
