Luckily, by this afternoon, I was able to workoutside.......no scary stuff anywhere

Yep, it is nice that this fall has been so mild.....

Some years by this time everything that hasn't yet been picked up, is frozen solid to the ground.

I am still working on my duck coop *pant pant, wheeze* so if all of my wood and such were already frozen solid to the ground, I would be crying.

Anyway, I got the front/South wall finished today, a big frame covered in plastic panels.

I am taking a break, having a hot coffee with adult milk chocolate.

Next I need to make a frame for the roof. I am not as confident about this piece. I don't have enough good plywood to make a roof base. So........ I am going to make a frame and then put on my antique metal roof panels. This sucker is going to weigh as much as an elephant!

It's already been quite the weekend, how is everyone else's going?

The worst morning in a long time... I had to make coffee this morning, because my wife wanted me to show her that I loved her. So, I did....I should be good for a couple of months now.

We woke up hearing "Red" our rather large RIR practicing his first crowing this morning. The funniest chicken sounds ever.

Having a nice dark roast Columbian ... Coffee that is. LOL.
Having my belated birthday party tonight (it was on Friday)
Gotta clean the house a bit so we can mess it up.
My favorite SIL and spouse are coming for a sleep-over tequila and chilli bash.
Gonna do a rack of ribs in the slow-cooker and chilli is already made.
Tick tick tick ... is it time yet?
OH WAIT, still haven't had my COFFEES yet. Slow down girl.
