morning everyone!

Crispy -7 F this morning, Actually not as bad as yesterday because the 30 mph wind gusts have stopped. Had to turn the heater on in the coop and the chooks were very appreciative.

No deer taken in those conditions but they sure murdered the 16 pound turkey last night!
Does a camp cooks ego good when the food disappears like that

Everybody is back out in the woods and it's just too cold to go do chores yet so I am just relaxing with my biggest mug of the rich black nector before all the frozen bodies start reappearing looking for hot food.
Sure am glad all the girls decided to start laying again!!!

Wow -7 I thought 29 was cold this morning. We don't usually get that col until December. I have done my part for the deer camp. I provided eggs for the gang. They had to cook them. I am on my second cup of coffee waiting for it to warm up enough for me to venture out The stove feels mighty nice this morning.
