We finally got above zero and of course the snow started falling so it's a fresh mug and football.

So, solid ice. My lawn is a solid sheet of ice.

Nothing good about it. We are actually at 8o F above zero right now BUT it's our high for the day (7:20 am) windchill is already in the minus and is supposed to hit -25 by dark. By Wednesday am our highs won't reach zero and I just don't want to think about the lows.

I really do like you Canadian folks to our north, I have always found you generous and friendly but PLEASE stop sharing your weather!

Everything is iced over. Looks like a good day for decorating the tree that we put up yesterday.

-cannot imagine the temps that you all are enduring. Brrrr. It has been in the teens/low twenties around here for four days......and my chickens refuse to leave the coop.

I opened the front door yesterday (and they would normally bolt out like lightning). -one ventured off of the "porch", stepped onto the icy ground, then turned and ran back into the coop.

Oh well..........here's to another day! -fresh mug of coffee in hand - it's all good.
