Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Baby # 4 got her official Texas DL yesterday.

Congrats!!!

Good morning! Welcome, Happy Birthday Late, Congrats on the eggs! That's always a proud day! By the way, the downstairs shower is the only one not used regularly. Lol. Getting warm enough now to use the outdoor shower for people.

Shower is working great for incubator. This is my first hatch and I finally got brave enough to candle two of the 33 in there. Eyes and movement!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!!

Yay on the eyes and movement!!!

Outdoor shower??? I want at least one of those!!! =D
Otherwise, showers should be used regularly (for hatching, of course). ;)

Morning all

Wow. It's been a long time since I read that book.

Book? I watched the movie one Sat when I was a teenager.

Okay, off to let the chicks out, get dressed, run to the vet's, feed store, master gardner plant sale and grocery store. Hope everyone has a beautiful Saturday.

You have a busy day!!!
We're all going to a friends house to help put up fence. Doesn't sound exciting, but we really like these friends. =D

SO THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE!!!!

Wish I had known, I was at Walmart yesterday, coulda picked me up some Jelly Beans!!! Does the sugar also increase egg production? And do the peeps hatch out marshmallows covered in pastel colored sugar with chocolate eyes?????

MORNING EVERYONE!!!

Well, the snow is finally over and the sun is out. The ice before the snow got so heavy it nearly collapsed the roof on the greenhouse but we cleared it in time. Just have to put the panel back in on one of the lift vents today.
Now, like Alaskan, I must try to get ahead of "break up". +8o F right now but supposed to get above freezing for the next week so with the almost a foot of fresh, heavy snow and a 1/2" of ice between that and the foot or so we still had on the ground, we have to try and move alot of snow FAST before the whole place turns into a huge lake!

All this melt has no place to go because the frost is still in the ground at record depths. Right now, no kidding, there is a story on tv about the effects of global warming. Yeah, right people. We have broken every cold, snow, etc. since they started keeping records this year and now they are warning about below normal temps for this summer. Send US some of that Global Warming will ya????

Yay for the sun!!!
Ice, ugh!
They only call it global warming in the dog days of summer now; they call it "Climate Change" when it's not hot enough to call it "Global Warming". ;)

Bugs??? you have bugs???? my poor chickies are outside with little tiny chisels attacking the ice to get at the bug cicles!!!!

Yippie!!!

Made it back from my rounds. Skipped the grocery store. Started to plant what I got at the garden sale and decided it needs to be warmer than 45 degrees so my hands will work.

the rest of the day will be observing LLama mama, waiting for baby.

Love it.

the rest of the day will be observing LLama mama, waiting for baby. I spent so many years of my life waiting on my own babies, you'd think I'd be a pro by now, but nope, I get all impatient when the time draws near for any momma. Hope all goes very well for her and you and especially for the baby!!!

Ditto.  I do like going in for the "cultural" stuff, but I sure don't want to live there.  Currently we live literally on the city border of a town of 3,500.  We have 13 acres and our nearest neighbor is not visible at a quarter mile away.  It takes 10 minutes to get to the grocery store, school and about 3 to jump on the interstate and head for big shopping.  Perfect for us.

That does sound nice!
