Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

the human children need to 'build character' :D so they are stuck doing old fashioned things like chores. Still haven't trained them to put away the feed buckets/water jugs/shovels though.....

And, a big :smack and :duc .... Really? TMI in regards to swimsuit swapping. I keep seeing the speedo and tank swapping wearers.... :lau

We moved from Anchorage to south Georgia when we were reassigned. Luckily it was in February so my body had time to temperature adjust (somewhat).

How many eye rolls did your kids dish out today? We had some chores to do as well and IT received a couple of the favorite " I know, I knw, I going!)

Good Morning Everyone
caf.gif

Just waiting for the sun to come up.
It was misty and Cold here yesterday High only reached 57!
We had to don our winter jackets to put together a small coop for babies I am calling The Chick Palace. From here our Chicks will move to the Hen House or the Meat Farm (when I get that one built). we went with this coop because it could be used for other things than Adult chickens. The only Adults in here will be me cleaning it or sick bay and maybe jail. But it is a great size for a few small chicks.

Today is suppose to be a much better day Cloudy yes but they are calling (for now) for temps in the low to mid 70's
I will take pics if I get the chicks settled in their new Palace today.

'Mornin. We have rain. Most of the night I heard it off and on, but hopefully no storms. My guess is I won't see a baby llama today either with the yucky weather. Also, tomorrow is a busy day at work for me so she will probably have it then. Stubborn llama.

Yep most inconvenient time is usually what is considered the RIGHT time for babies
Good Luck, I am not a very good waiter

Neither am I!!! We just got the llamas this time last year so this will be my first "large animal" birth. She has birthed before and the breeder we got them from says she did fine and was good as a mother. However, each time is different. She was "due" around the 1st of April (plus or minus two weeks) so we are running late right now.

To top it off, my hubby is out of town so I have neighbors spot checking during the day so they can call me and I can leave work if she has it.

We really thought she would go early but again

. I am sure I won't see it happen. I just hope all goes well.

it may tornado where I live, but I hope not because my older brother freaks out about tornados! it's raining like crazy here too! I'm glad I have ducks so they can swim!
