I am quite sure that when my mother passes and they autopsy her, coffee will flw from her veins instead of blood. She drinks it 24/7. I am not quite to that point yet.

Actually I have a great Oncologist who is also a nice guy and who literally saved my life, again, last summer. That was the only time I had ever defied him and it really set him back!

I told my Oncologist once that "I have Leukemia, I don't smoke, I used to enjoy an occasional wine and/or wine cooler but you said no alcohol  and I haven't had a drop since, I do everything you tell me, BUT YOU WILL PRY MY COFFEE CUP OUT OF MY COLD DEAD HAND!"
His eyes got big, he paused, then he just smiled and never mentioned it again.

Morning all. Sad news: lost one of my original sexlink hens last night. I believe she had ben internaly laying for a while. I think my remaining 4 are doing the same as it has been month since we have gotten eggs from them. That is? He problem with "genetic engineering", there areside effects. :-(

So sorry for the loss of your girl.

All my sex-links had quit laying too and i was baffled. Then the other day I started finding a single egg again after I opened the coop that morning and there were so many feathers in the catch tray below the roost that it looked like a chicken had exploded!!!

Some of my girls lose a feather here and there and some of them are almost bald when they molt. Nature is a funny thing.

Can't believe this mild weather we are having. I love it. I just wish I didn't have to work so I could enjoy it more.
