Our church membership is currently a bit skewed... no strong mountain men... all the correctly aged are either nerdy or too busted up to risk their back on such a big heave. We need heavy machinery. My tractor isn't buff enough either. I also have no way to get the tractor from one place to the other.

Used to have a friend with access to heavy machinery. :hit

My Grand Pa used to have heavy machinery--Tractors, Cats, a dump truck and big flat bed pickups.

I think of those good old days when I am digging something....or need to move something big.

Yep!

I still remember the time our tractor died at the very bottom of the drive in a deep cold spell. We needed to get it to the house to get it running again.

That friend brought over a giant bull dozer and hooked a chain up to the tractor. The bulldozer didn't even feel the weight, even when the tractor swung back and forth across the entire slope, like a giant pendulum. (Tractor strayed upright, so no harm done)

Ah! The good old days!

One drunken new years eve, a friend of mine drove his tractor into a ditch (an old thing, from the sixties). We pulled it up using an AWD mercedes E-class. That was pretty funny.
