Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

DUDE!!!! I want my house to look that bright and shiny, and clean.

:hugs for everyone.....

And, did I mention on this thread that MY BANTAM COOP IS DONE!! Soooooooo happy about it! Wow!

I do need to build a feeder now *sigh* and I am all tuckered out.... But I can wait a week.

Alaskan, feeder takes 10 minutes to make, so that's okay... Did you enter the coop competition already?

I just looked, nooe, too late, it is closed.

I am sure they will open up a fall one soon, and I can put it in there.

The problem with the feeder......I am not sure hiw I wanna make it. :confused: like, what size, what materials.

Plastic, my design, but with 4 feeder ports. Parts are gonna cost you about 20 though if you don't have everything.

Interesting about the competition, they were going to announce a week in advance before closing it, but they haven't.

10 min for you = all day project for me. :lau Seriously I would like to try something different to feed mine. Something so the lower ones in the pecking order have a fair chance of getting the feed too without having to wait for so many. I have 2 feeders and they still can't get in to eat easy enough. Treat time and wet mash time is even worse and I put out 4 or 5 dishes.:th

@chickisoup Love your Good Morning sign!

@Alaskan Got pics?

Today was not windy! Sunshine high of 64! Great painting weather. Except the asian lady beetles like the sunshine too. :rolleyes: But I got a coat of paint on the front side of the coop. The dry almost bare boards really sucked up the paint. Now I have to get more. :he Tomorrow I plan to paint and put up trim board. It never had any so I think it will look more finished that way. And go get 1 more gallon of paint in the afternoon whie the asian beetles attack the coop in the sun. ;)

I'd go with 2 or 4 one port feeders, mounted on opposite sides of a 3 foot wide piece of plywood with 2 feeders, or 4 foot apart on a 6 foot wide piece with 4 feeders. Or then you could make a sort of a swastika shaped feeding station. That way they could sort of hide from each other.

Great idea. Just have to figure out how to fit the size in. I was thinking of something to block the view of the other girls. I've got 3 bales of straw set in the run in various places for the winter use but have found they work well to separate for for treats right now too. It's just a pain to keep filling 4 or 5 different dishes. They do like have the variety of the bales to run around.
