@mrbigschickens I have the solution to your problem:

He's happy to clean every day, and won't complain (except if there's something blocking his path, something gets stuck to his brush, or you've forgotten to empty his dirt bin, but he will thank you after you rectify these things).

So, how's everyone's coffee today?

That's a great idea. IDK how I feel about a robot vacuuming my floor.

Especially if it thanks me.

I'm kind of old-fashioned, if I can't do it and I can't get the kids or DH to do it, it doesn't get done.

I did my version of Deb's dirty Chai (in chocolate) today. Yum. It's already gone. I'll be going to seek out more caffeine when I'm caught up here.

Puddin, you'll love it. I only have experience with the Neato brand, but I've really liked it. It actually vacuums, doesn't just push stuff around.

I have old, unsealed (formerly sealed) hard wood floors; how does it do on those? And we have a rug in the living room and in the girls bedroom, how does it do going from wood floor to rug with almost no pile?

The Neato is Merkan too, you should have it. Look up some tests between the two brands before buying.

I'll have to talk to DH about this idea. He's the researcher around here. I just come up with the hair-brained schemes; I leave it to him to make them work.

Yeah, we're supposed to get the Polar Vortex this weekend and into next week; that was as of yesterday's forecast.
As of this morning, it's not supposed to have as great an effect quite this far south. We'll see; I'm just keeping a hot beverage nearby for the next several months.

So, we're looking at getting DD some banties b/c she's done so much helping me out with the chickens. She has a smooth black Cochin bantam rooster. I'm thinking about getting her 2-3 Cochin pullets (maybe one frizzle, definitely at least one smooth black), and I want to get her something bantam that doesn't go broody, so that Phil (her roo) will have someone to hang out with when his Cochin girls go broody (b/c we all know they're going to go broody). What do you all suggest?

Cochins are not supposed to be good egg layers. They are reported to be good broodies.

I would not go to heavy into them if wanting eggs.

Good Morning.

I made espresso in my moka pot this morning. I then bought a large coffee at the coffee shop on campus.

I was wondering this morning if I should process a CCL(crested cream legbar) or two to make noodle soup out of. I have four cockerels and they are starting to crow...Not very big but I bet they will be tasty!

Chickadoodles, my dentist starts you out on laughing gas and continues with additional narcotics until you are comfortable. He pulled some teeth that he had to split recently. After he finished I said that I thought you were going to pull some teeth. He said, I did. I am finished.
