Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Went to the grocery store today and the landscaping guy was planting Impatients in the big plant pots that line the sidewalk.... I said "Wow" he said "getting ready for the holidays"

when I left he was watering each one with a dipped bucket of water from a trash can on wheels....

San Diego county has Flowers as one of its major industries. Carlesbad used to be our main greenhouse industry. Most of the poinsettias you see in stores will be grown right here. And they grow outside here if protected from frost.

I TOTALLY believe in answered prayer, and this time He said YES!!!!

I have been really worried because we had heard nothing from hospital billing or our insurance since I fell and had the emergency surgery on September 13. When everyone is quiet that long it hardly ever means anything good. We got the paperwork from the insurance today and so far the totals are over $20,000.00 and that doesn't seem to cover the emergency room, etc.

However, it looks like they are covering all but a few hundred dollars!!!! THANK YOU LORD!!!
WHEW!!! We were really really holding our breath every time we went to the mailbox. We barely came up with the money for the wheelchair, walker (thank goodness for Amazon outlet!) and the ramp all but cleaned out our emergency savings account.

Looks like we will have a Merry Christmas after all!

Yeah for insurance. My son broke his arm a few years back and had to have surgery. I was just waiting on that bill. It was over $3,000 just for the surgery but our insurance paid everything except an office visit co-pay. My son visits the ER every few years.. Ack! Now that I think about it, its about time fr another visit!

Warming my hands over my morning cup of coffee this morning.
It's 30 degrees here in north central Florida, burrrr!
Actually thinking of building a fire in the fireplace and when I think like that it has to be cold!
Stay warm Peeps, more coffee comin up!
