You are correct!

They will get permanent feathers at the last juvenile molt. Some breeds will change a bunch then. Cockerels can get different colored hackle and cackle feathers then. Sometimes blue boys will get black looking hackle and saddle feathers and have blue chest feathers.

Gotta wait and see!

I have no idea how I would wait that long for a cup of coffee..... I would have to plan ahead!

It makes about six cups of concentrate.... For a yummy coffee you mix it three to one.... Or one portion of the concentrate to three of Hot water, Milk, or creme.... I drink it cold but you certainly could heat up the water or milk before putting it in.

Six cups works out to be 24 cups of coffee... It will take a while to drink it all. Oh and it lasts a good two weeks in the decanter in the refrigerator. The filter itself is good for up to ten brewing jobs....

Oh and while I normally drink four shots of espresso every morning.... this morning I had just one cup and I am not feeling deprived in any way.

16 frosty degrees out there this morning. We'll be lucky to get above freezing today. I know, that seems like nothing to a lot of you that actually get winter every year, but it's unusual for us, and dealing with it takes extra effort. No point in heated waterers when the water only stays frozen for a few days each winter, so I will be schlepping water out to the animals several times today.
