Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Awesome sunflour! Now could you come have a meeting with mine? I have 12 or so not laying!

Try a meeting…threaten no treats, no fun, maybe a crockpot joke? See if it helps..

Ocap, yeah, those are a must when it's slippery. It's so much nicer to have proper traction when walking outside. Plus you walk in a much more relaxed manner, without them I tend to walk in a very tense way, tightening every muscle all the time. Not very comfortable, really.

nah, when it is icy, don't tense up... just slide your feet!

When it is icy out, that is the way I walk, and I notice that all of my kids learned to walk like that on the ice, out of pure instinct.

You never pick up your feet, you slide your feet along the ground.

I have those no slip ice traction things and haven't used them, not that I don't need to I just don't think about them when necessary!

that is my problem... and gloves too.... I never forget my hat.

@Peep_Show Stay warm and safe! But if you could just sling-shot that back up to Alaskan that would be great!
haha! Still not so bad! And this 'super cold' weather that I am supposed to be getting Thursday and Friday is just barely below freezing.

Wow! Thanks for all the boot advice folks - I will look at all those choices on the computer tonight - muck boots and bogs aren't warm enough but the double and triple sock bit helps - I tried to order chains for the tractor but I need more measurements...

My favorite idea though is to have a coop meeting and make a crock pot joke!

Dis someone mention coffee? We have a couple of locals who roast. Love their stuff. And yes, beautiful bling but I'm pretty sure that the birds who peck at my pedicure would most likely have a better time with the rhinestones!

Have you seen the Swarovski bling western saddle these days
the following is an extreme example and probably would be the price of a car to buy.
every inch of this saddle is covered in crystals.

the web page showes more detail of this saddle

It probably doubled the weight putting all that glass on there.... Most Western Saddles weigh AT LEAST 25 pounds... I had one that was 35 but that was an OLLD tyme Circle Y.
